Video Translation creates a dubbed copy from a video you select or a screen recording you actively start. The app does not upload your selected video, recorded video, audio, transcript or translation to our server to create the dubbed video. Those materials are processed and stored on your device.

视频翻译会基于你选择的视频，或由你主动开始的屏幕录制，生成一份译制副本。应用不会将你选择的视频、录制视频、音频、转写或译文上传至我们的服务器来制作译制视频。这些内容会在你的设备上处理和保存。

The app does send limited, pseudonymous launch telemetry to our endpoint: a hashed installation identifier, app identifier, timestamp, random value and request signature. This telemetry does not include your video or dubbing content.

应用会向我们的服务端发送有限的、假名化的启动统计信息：哈希化安装标识、应用标识、时间戳、随机值和请求签名。这些统计信息不包括你的视频或译制内容。

To perform the features you choose, Video Translation may process the following in its app sandbox:

• A video you choose from Photos, including its filename and embedded media tracks.

• A screen recording you actively start through the iOS system sharing picker. A screen recording can include the selected screen’s visible content and system audio.

• Audio extracted from those videos; available soft subtitles; generated transcripts; translated text; selected source and target languages; and selected system-voice information.

• A new dubbed video and task information needed to show it in your Library.

This content is used to create and display your dubbed project. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or training a model for our service.

When the app starts and a network connection is available, Video Translation may send one launch event to https://api.zhangleme.hk.cn/api/users. The event contains a SHA-256-hashed, stable installation identifier, the app bundle identifier, a timestamp, a random value and a request signature. The original random installation identifier is held in the device Keychain, rather than sent as plain text.

当应用启动且网络可用时，视频翻译可能会向 https://api.zhangleme.hk.cn/api/users 发送一次启动事件。该事件包含 SHA-256 哈希化的稳定安装标识、应用套装标识、时间戳、随机值和请求签名。原始随机安装标识保存在设备的 Keychain 中，不会以明文形式发送。

We use this event to measure app launches. Like other internet requests, the endpoint and network infrastructure may receive IP address and standard technical transmission information. We do not include videos, audio, subtitles, transcripts, translations, names, email addresses or language selections in this launch event.

我们使用该事件统计应用启动。与其他互联网请求一样，该端点和网络基础设施可能会收到 IP 地址及常规技术传输信息。我们不会在该启动事件中包含视频、音频、字幕、转写、译文、姓名、邮箱地址或语言选择信息。

Language and voice resources

Video Translation uses iOS speech recognition, translation and system voice resources when they are available on your device. Before first use, iOS may download required language or voice resources. Apple’s handling of those downloads is governed by Apple’s own policies.

当设备资源可用时，视频翻译会使用 iOS 语音识别、翻译和系统语音资源。首次使用前，iOS 可能需要下载所需语言或语音资源。Apple 对这些下载的处理受其自身政策约束。

4. What we do not collect for this app

Video Translation does not require an account. The current app does not collect your name, postal address, phone number, contacts, precise location, payment information or advertising identifier. It does not use an advertising SDK, and it does not upload your selected videos, recordings, audio, subtitles, transcripts or translations to our server for dubbing.

视频翻译不要求创建帐号。当前应用不会收集你的姓名、邮寄地址、电话号码、通讯录、精确位置、支付信息或广告标识符。它不使用广告 SDK，也不会将你选择的视频、录制内容、音频、字幕、转写或译文上传至我们的服务器用于译制。

This does not mean that no information is ever transmitted: the pseudonymous launch telemetry described above is sent when the app launches with a network connection.

5. Permissions

• Photos: lets you choose a video and, when you explicitly choose to do so, save or export a completed video through iOS.

• Screen capture: lets you actively choose a screen in Apple’s system picker and make a screen recording. It is not started silently by the app.
• 屏幕录制：用于让你在 Apple 系统面板中主动选择屏幕并进行录制。应用不会静默启动录制。
• Speech recognition: lets the app transcribe speech in the video audio when an available recognition path requires this permission.
• 语音识别：当可用的识别路径需要该权限时，用于转写视频音轨中的语音。

Video Translation does not request microphone, camera, contacts, location, notification or app-tracking permission for its current features. You can change permission choices in iOS Settings.

6. Storage, retention and deletion

Video Translation stores project information, selected or recorded source files and completed dubbed videos in the app’s local storage so that you can revisit a project in the Library. It may also retain transcripts and translations needed to display project details.

视频翻译会在应用本地存储中保存项目资料、所选或录制的源文件及已完成的译制视频，以便你在记录页重新查看项目。它还可能保存展示项目详情所需的转写和译文。

Deleting a Library project removes its project record and its currently associated source and dubbed video. The current version can retain temporary processing files, such as intermediate audio, until you clear app data. Clearing the app’s data or deleting the app is the most comprehensive way to remove locally stored app content. Deleting the app may not remove all information that the operating system or another service retains independently.

删除记录页项目会移除其项目记录及当前关联的源视频和译制视频。当前版本可能会保留临时处理文件（例如中间音频），直到你清除应用数据。清除应用数据或删除应用，是移除本地应用内容最完整的方式。删除应用不一定会移除操作系统或其他服务独立保留的所有信息。

7. Sharing and external services

A completed video is shared or exported only when you explicitly use the iOS share controls. The destination you select then handles the content under its own terms and privacy policy.

If you choose to open a video service such as YouTube, TED, Vimeo or Bilibili, that service or its app operates independently. Video Translation is not affiliated with or sponsored by those services, and their privacy policies apply to your activity there.

如果你选择打开 YouTube、TED、Vimeo 或哔哩哔哩等视频服务，该服务或其 App 将独立运行。视频翻译与这些服务无隶属或赞助关系；你在其中的活动适用其各自的隐私政策。

This static website does not set analytics or advertising cookies on our behalf. If you email us for support, we receive the information you include, such as your email address and message, and use it to respond to your request.

You can decide whether to select a video, start a screen recording, use the share sheet or contact support. You can revoke app permissions in iOS Settings and delete Library projects or app data.
